For the past three years Danko has been working as a tour guide, completing a wide range of projects and tasks within the profession. Starting with city tours of the city of Zagreb and the county of Zagreb he very soon started to lead groups all over the territory of Croatia and the neighbouring countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Slovenia). Complemented by his driver guide assignments he has traveled all across Croatia. Danko had a good fortune to accompany a wide range of group profiles from small 2-3 member to bigger (30 plus) member groups, groups of children and students but also professional company trips and groups of seniors. Using his broad range of previous professional experience and knowledge he manage to offer to his guests an interesting all encompassing travelling experience.
Besides having a lot of knowledge and experience in the area of tourism and gastronomy, Danko has spent a lot of time participating in the activities of several youth and environmental non-governmental organisations. He organised multicultural youth volunteer camps, concerts, exhibitions and protests. Danko has a certificate in permaculture, a system of sustainable social, agricultural and living practices. In collaboration with his partner he became proficient in the areas of food and tabletop photography.
Danko is a father of a 5 year old boy named Rujan and he lives with my family, 2 dogs and roommates in a beautiful old apartment in the centre of Zagreb. He spends most of his free time reading, jogging, cooking, gardening and traveling. Favourite places so far: Alentejo County in Portugal and the Lake District, UK.
